Earlier today, Panasonic dropped their latest full-frame mirrorless camera w/ the Lumix S5. Giving you the same large sensor within their S1 camera but in a slightly smaller package. This is actually smaller than the legendary GH5, BTW.
The Lumiz S1 offers a 24.2MP full-frame sensor that works w/ their L-mount system of lenses, capable of 4K@60fps w/ 4:2:0 10-bit or 4K@30fps w/ 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording w/ options of HDR + V-Log, in-body image stabilization w/ 5 stops of speed, 4-stops of dynamic range, ISO up to 51,200 for photos + dual native ISOs of 640 & 4000 to reduce noise, a 2.36 million-dot OLED viewfinder w/ 0.74x magnification, a 3inch variable-angle LCD, 2 DC card slots, and a 2200 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C. All within a splash/dust-resistant body. Not bad, Panasonic, not bad.
The Lumix S5 is due sometime this month as camera YouTube channels already have it. It will cost you $2,000 for the body or $2,300 for the f/3.5-5.6 20-60mm kit lens. Depending on where you buy it, Panasonic is throwing in a free Sigma f/2.8 45mm L-mount lens to go along w/ it.
