So we knew it was coming but we didn’t exactly how & when. Today we know the fate of the DC Universe streaming service as it will evolve. They announced that the DC Universe will become the DC Universe Infinite.
The DC Universe Infinite will be your hub for all DC Comics, collectibles, & community moving forward on January 21st, 2021. The new service will cost you $8 per month or $75 for the year. Those of you who stay on will get a credit voucher of $10 for monthly members & $25 for annual members as they will arrive on February 1st, 2021. Current members who want to have access to both will be able to add HBO Max to their existing subscription for $5 per month starting on October 30th.
Along w/ this announcement, all of their original shows (the ones they didn’t tell us yet) are going to HBO Max as exclusives. So Titans, Stargirl S1, the Harley Quinn animated series, Young Justice, & all of their previously aired content will be moving over to HBO’s streaming service.
For those of you outside of the US, DC universe Infinite will arrive globally starting Summer 2021. So who’s keeping the service when it make the switch to comics-only?
