With Google’s big event happening later this month, we’re expecting several new products from them.  One of the many is a new vision of the Chromecast.  Previously, its been updated w/ faster internals for better connectivity + to support 4K streaming.

The new model codenamed Sabrina will be their new Chromecast w/ Google TV.  The images above are courtesy of the folks from WinFuture BTW.  Google retained the dongle look but its more flatter look to it but adds a remote this go round. The remote supports the reports of it being powered by Google TV or Android TV.  The remote will have a dedicated Google Assistant, YouTube, & Netflix buttons on board.

Inside it is said to have a quad-core CPU inside w. 2GB of RAM, and not a lot of internal storage. So don’t expect to game on this.  It still connects via your TV’s HDMI, has an USB port, &will retain a low price point rumors suggest around $50.  The image above is in white but expect it to arrive in several color options.

Who’s looking to replace their older Chromecast w/ this newer model in a few weeks?
