There was a bit of news from Google’s Launch In event we missed out on. One of them is Verizon’s pricing for their 5G Pixels. Now since Verizon is the only carrier using their mmWave technology for 5G, there will be additional hardware needed inside of the device to access this.
This has been the case for all of the flagships for 2020 and is no different here. Google will be selling the 4a 5G for $500 but if you want that on Verizon, you’re gonna have to pay $100 more at $600. It will be called the Pixel 4a 5G UW to work on their ultra wideband 5G network. So you gotta shell out an $100 for that extra 5G hardware. But on the upside, Verizon’s Pixel 4a 5G will offer an exclusive White color option.
So Now that you know all of that, when can you buy one? Pre-orders start on October 29th & goes on sale November 19th. That exclusive color option will be available at launch BTW.
