While we’re still a few weeks away from the actual PlayStation 5 launch, Sony is slowly dropping more & more details on their next-gen console. Today, we get our 1st look at what the new UI will look like.
As you can see above, Sony gave us over 11 minutes of it. Showing off your available/installed games + apps within its own hub. We got a new ‘Control Center’ menu to show off notifications, recent achievements, screenshots, music, settings, & download status. The new ‘Activities’ card link out specific levels or gameplay modes. We got ‘Game Help’ for PS Plus subscribers as some will support picture-in-picture mode or split screen view to see hints while playing.
Players will also be able to share their screens w/ other members of the party. As well as pin gameplay streams alongside their own. The PS Store will be integrated within the overall software to make it easier to find new games + apps to buy/download on the PS5.
So who’s looking forward to their PS5 when it ships?
