Looks like the consumer tech space is trying to start the year off right. Last night, Samsung sent out invites confirming their top-of-the-year flagship arrival w/ the Galaxy S21 launch happening on January 14th virtually.
So we’re expecting the standard 3 phones lineup w/ the S21, the S21+, & the S21 Ultra which is supposed to have additional S Pen support although it won’t ship w/ one. This is more a refresh line up w/ a new slimmer design, smaller camera bump, & faster internals. We’re expecting a 3 camera setup on the rear for the S21 & S21+ while the S21 Ultra will offer 5 shooters on the rear.
Along w/ that, we’re expecting to see the Galaxy Buds Pro w/ ANC which ditches the bean design and goes back to a version of their prior look. And Samsung Galaxy Tag Bluetooth trackers which would be their take on the Tile trackers. Other than that, they may have a surprise or something to tease.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will kick off on the 14th @7AM PST/10AM EST. So who’s looking to grab one of these or are you waiting for the new Note or Fold lineup?
