So after a super long wait, HBO Max is finally gaining international release in time for the summer. The streaming service is currently only available in the US as it making its way to Latin America & Caribbean starting in June.
The international rollout kicks off to 39 countries/territories over the 2 continents Anguilla, Antigua, Argentina, Aruba, B.V.I., Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Montserrat, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks and Caicos, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
They also plan to transition HBO-branded services in Europe to HBO Max later this year as well. WarnerMedia will be phasing out the HBO Go app & replace it w/ HBO Max to continue to fix the confusion they presented at launch.
This will give the international audience a chance to check out the HBO Max/theaters cross- releases for the 2nd half of the year.
