Well for those of you waiting for that cheaper version of HBO Max to arrive, its coming real soon.  It is set to arrive in June w/ ads for $10 per month as opposed to the $15 for the soon-to-be ad-free version.

The news comes from the folks over at CNBC which also shared some detail on how their financials work as well.  More specifically, HBO sharing revenue w/ their distributors from 30%-60%.  So this new tier will lead to less $$ for distributors though.

Although being the more expensive of the streaming services, they have tons of content to offer.  Especially for this year w/ new movies dropping on the service the same day as in theaters.  We got to enjoy stuff like Mortal Kombat, Godzilla vs Kong, Exterminate All Brutes, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and tons of HBO original content like Silicon Valley, Game of Thrones, The Wire, & much, much more.

Would a more affordable plan for HBO Max entice you to subscribe?
