While we’ve been enjoying all of the 5 years of Pixel smartphones from Google, we always wondered about them doing an actual smartwatch, Google’s Pixel Watch has been long-rumored for even longer w/ the Android Wear-then-becoming Wear OS. Recent reports show that we may get it sooner rather than later.
According to YouTuber Jon Prosser over @FPT, these renders based on images he’s seen. His track record is pretty decent but have come across a few stumbles lately so definitely take this info w/ a grain of salt. The images show off an overall clean, round design w/ slim bezels, & a single crown that might work how the Apple Watch does. The watchbands appear to connect like the Apple Watch as well. It’s rumored codename is ‘Rohan’ and will run Wear OS.
Outside of that, we have no idea on the specs/features it will offer. Now there are conflicting reports that it will launch w/ the Pixel 5A or the Pixel 6. Unless both phones are dropping at the same time, I would go w/ Google dropping this alongside the Pixel 6.
If the Pixel Watch finally makes it way out this year, would you give this a shot? Or would it depend on the features & pricing of it all?
