Yesterday, Sony dropped another new piece of glass on us for their renowned E-Mount lens system. They added to their G Master lineup of lenses w/ a new f/1.8 14mm lens.
This gives you the sharpness, wide angle, auto-focus, & speed you can count/rely on Sony for. They added 2 XA (extreme aspherical) elements, 1 aspherical lens element, 2 ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements, and 1 Super ED glass element to pull off the its sharpness. You’ll have an AF(auto-focus)/MF (manual focus) switch, a de-clicked aperture for video, a response ring for manual focus, and a focus hold button.
All of this w/G Master’s fluorine coating to keep the front element clean + lens body being dust/moisture-resistant lens. Like any other G Master, it will come at a cost as it has a $1,598 price tag on it. It goes on sale today for those of you who are ready to buy it ASAP.
