They’ve been teased online and Bron was caught wearing them at a game as well and now they’re here. Yesterday, the folks over at Beats made their previously rumored earbuds official w/ their new Studio Buds. These are their 1st true wireless earbuds as opposed to their fitness-focused Powerbeats Pro w/ earhooks.
The Studio Buds offers active noise cancellation, IPX4 water + sweat resistance, and a 5-hour battery w/ ANC on + 8 hours w/ ANC off. You got no wireless charging but there is USB-C charging w/ 5-minute Fast Fuel charging gives up to 1 hour of playback. They can be used independently as well BTW in case you wanted to use just one at a time.
They offer dual beamforming mic w/ wind reduction to help out w/ ANC as well as their Transparency mode. You got touch panels for play/pause/skip media controls. You got hands-free ‘Hey Siri’ support as well as now support for Google’s Fast Pair + Find My Device.
The Beats Studio Buds are coming on June 24th w/ pre-order kicked off yesterday. It will cost you $150 and will arrive in Red, Black, & White color options. Will you be picking these up?
