DJI wants to flood the market at damn-near every corner in regards to their drones. The latest leaks points towards an even more affordable drone – even cheaper than their $449 Mini 2.

We’re talking about the upcoming DJI Mini SE for $299. The leaks have been spotted over at Walmart which would offer the body of their 1st-gen Mavic Mini. So you still got the now-iconic folding arms, newer remote, extra propellers, camera cover, extra screws/screwdriver, & cables.

You got a 12MP camera capable of 2.7K resolution video, no slow-motion options, the QuickShot modes of Dronie, Circle, Helix, and Rocket, a 30-minute battery life, GPS onboard, Wi-Fi + Bluetooth, a 2.5-mile range w/o the newest wireless Ocusync technology, and their Return to Home feature.

This would be an amazing entry point w/o spending too much $$$ to get started w/ your drone life. Its comes in at only 0.55lbs so you won’t have to register it w/ the FAA either. Since the images of pricing SKUs and things are already out there, we can assume that it will be official in the upcoming weeks.
