So as the headline says, apparently, Bose’s QuietComfort 35 line isn’t dead as some might have presumed. The Noise Canceling Headphones 700 has been their new premium headphones w/ ANC as it seems the QC line will be positioned as their mid-tier ANC cans.

The folks over at WinFuture spotted their FCC filing for a newer model w/ the QuietComfort 45 branding. Now, what’s new? We’re not exactly sure but they seemed to have maintained their same, lightweight design. The QC35 II’s still had a micro USB port and added a dedicated Google Assistant button. Now that many years have passed, they really gonna need more than just a USB-C port here.

Hopefully, Bose will have made more competitive changes to their sound/feature set or else there won’t be any reason to pick these up. Especially now that Sony has done an amazing job in flooding the market w/ superb ANC headphones + earbuds w/ a variety of features & pricing.

We’ll see whenever they make it official which could be as early as before the end of summer. So the wait won’t be too long.
