As we’re in full summer swing, we got more details on the forthcoming Nothing Ear (1) earbuds yesterday. Taking cues from his former company, OnePlus, Carl Pei is pushing a similar rollout to generate some hype behind their 1st product.
After speaking w/ the folks over at Tech Crunch, he revealed that they will have entry-level pricing and a key feature many look for in earbuds. The Ear(1) will tout a $99 price point and be armed w/ 3 mics per buds to offer active noise-canceling as well. They’ve been pushing a transparent design w/ the mockups that we can expect to see some of that make its way to the final design.
The Nothing Ear (1) earbuds will be officially unveiled on July 27th and will go on sale in UK, India, Europe, and the US immediately afterward. Hopefully, w/ the new unveilings and his expertise + leadership can help them stand out in the crowded sea of earbuds within the market.
