Now that the iPhone 13 is out, it’s almost Pixel time. Expect Google to spend a lot more in marketing for this one so be warned as ads for it will be everywhere. Towards the end of last week, we started to get word on what kind of shooters the new Pixel 6 Pro will offer.
The folks over at XDA apparently know someone who has handled the Pixel 6 Pro and shared a lot of the specs & features that come along w/ the new shooters. So on the rear, the star of the show is a Samsung-made 50MP sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide Sony sensor, a 48MP 4x telephoto Sony sensor, and a 12MP selfie Sony sensor.
Now we will see new manual controls for white balance adjustment in an effort to better capture diverse skin tones, the Magic Eraser feature teased back at I/O a few years back, Face Deblur, Scene Lock, Bluetooth mic support, Motion Blur, Baby Mode, & more along w/ the usual AI-based image rendering + Astrophotography. It will be able to capture video up to 4K@60fps for the main and 4K@30fps for the ultra-wide + telephoto lenses. Shooting in 4K@30fps, you’ll be able to switch between lenses w/o having to stop.
I just need to know what the video quality looks like w/ these new sensors. I hope it can catch up the Pixel’s video quality to the like of the iPhone & Galaxy S devices. We’re less than a month away from the big unveil as I am curious to get it in hand and see the 2021 Pixel experience. How about you?
