Jasper Ellens on Twitter leaked in action

While DJI dropped new drones earlier this year w/ the Air 2S, the FPV, & the Mini SE but we’re still waiting for the flagship one. And it looks like it’s coming sooner rather than later w/ their Mavic 3 Pro.

DJI is looking to do the usual things of improvement of better cameras & battery life. But they’re doing more than just a mild upgrade though. According to the folks over at DroneDJ, we’re getting 2 models like the Mavic 2 Pro & Zoom.

For the 3rd-gen we’re getting a Mavic 3 Pro & a Cine model. Both will be equipped w/ a larger Four-Thirds 24mm 20MP F/2.8-F/11 camera and a 2nd 160mm telephoto 12MP 15-degree field of view capable of 5.2K video. We’re also getting up to 46 minutes of flight time and that’s w/ the extra camera on board as well. Equipped w/ a USB-C port you can charge it directly instead of having to pop/swap out batteries.

The Cine model will offer a built-in SSD, 1Gbps Lightspeed Data Cable, a new version of their Smart Controller, and an updated version of their OcuSync video transmission that offers over 9 miles of range.

We’re supposed to get the official unveiling on November 15th. Rumored pricing has the Mavic 3 Pro starts at $1,600, the Cine model around $2,600, & the new DJI Smart Controller will cost $750.

This sounds like quite the upgrade for those looking for it a new high-end drone setup but at a cost. We’re over a month away to see how it close the leaks align w/ the real specs/pricing.
