Last night, DJI made their leaked 3rd-gen Mavic drone official and its not one but 2 drones w/ the Mavic 3 & the Mavic 3 Cine.  They’re stepping things even more despite dropping the Pro name.

For starters, you got a dual camera system comprised of a Micro Four Thirds f/2.8 20MP Hasselblad + f/4.4 12MP Hybrid Zoom sensor capable of 28x digital zoom.  Also, both drones have a 46-minute flight time.  The regular 3 can shoot in 4K up to 120fps while the 3 Cine can shoot Apple ProRes 422 HQ 5.1K up to 50fps along w/ a built-in 1TB SSD.  You’ll have Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution for natural colors out of the sensor as well as be able to shoot in 10-bit D-log but there’s no HDR video support though.

DJI retains a lot of its autonomous abilities for the Mavic 3  & adds new ones as well w/ omni-directional obstacle sensing up to 650ft away, Advanced Return to Home to map out a route back to its launching position, and ActiveTrack 5.0 from tracking/following objects.  And you got their proprietary OcuSync 3+ for transmitting up to 1080p@60fps live feed as far as a 9.3 miles to your smartphone or controller.

So the Mavic 3 starts at $2,200 & ships w/ a carrying strap, remote controller, charger, extra propellers, & a joystick.  The $3,000 Fly More Combo adds more batteries, a charging hub, 4 sets of propellers, a carry case that turns into a backpack, and a set of ND filters.  And the $5,000 Cine Premium Combo gives you everything from the Fly More Combo but adds the Mavic 3 Cine drone, their new RC Pro remote w/ built-in display, & additional ND filters.
