Last week, Kia revealed a new version of their 2023 Sportage w/ a new X-Pro off-road-ready trim.  Alongside its new off-road capabilities, it brings a few other new things to the table.  

The new-and-improved Sportage adds the signature tiger nose to the front, boomerang-like daytime running lights, notch-like tail lights, & Kia’s larger new logo.  It is also 7.1inches longer w/ the wheelbase 3.4inches longer as well as being a half an inch taller + wider w/ more legroom (@41.3inches) + trunk space (@39.6 cu ft).  Under the hood, you got 187hp w/ a 2.5L 4-cylinder gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine.  

Now onto the off-road side of things, there will be an X-Pro & X-Pro Prestige models w/ 17inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires + multi-terrain drive modes.  This new trims also add a heated windshield, washer nozzles, LED fog lights, LED projector headlights, 2-tone roof option, ventilated front seats, a 12.3inch digital instrument gauge + 12.3inch infotainment display, optional wireless charging, Alexa/Google Assistant integration, USB ports, Wi-Fi hotspot support, integrated coat hangers/bag hooks, 360-degree camera system upgrade, Blind-Spot View monitor cameras, adaptive cruise control w/ stop-and-go, rear cross traffic alert w. brake assist, & forward collision avoidance system.  

Yeah, that’s a lot of features here w/ most of them standard to the new X Pro trims of the 2023 Sportage.  Its coming to the US and will be available sometime during the 1st quarter of 2022 BTW.
