So after a month or so of being about and going through its growing pains, Google’s Pixel 6 line is getting closer to getting their official wireless charger. That’s right, the 2nd-gen Pixel Stand is ready for pre-order at $79.
Similar to the original one, it will adjust the phone’s UI to either pull up photos, alarms, Nest Security camera feed, & more. You’ll be able to get up to 23W wireless charging w/ this one on Pixel devices and up to 15W for other devices. It does ships w/ 30W PD USB-C power brick despite not reaching those speeds wirelessly.
If you prefer the nightstand approach to viewing your information, this will be a perfect pick up for you. But for everyone else, I would just pick up a 30W or faster charging brick to plug in to charge faster.
