Last night, Hyundai unveiled the official pricing for their forthcoming crossover EV: the Ioniq 5.  So why wait, let’s get right to it.  The pricing will range from $39,700 & $54,500.  It will arrive in 3 different trims of SE, SEL, & the Limited and be armed w/ either a 58kWh battery w/ 220 mile-range or a 77.4kWh battery w/ 303 mile-range via RWD or 256-mile range via AWD.

Now the smaller batteries will be last and the bigger ones will be 1st BTW.  The 220-mile battery will max out at 168HP SE Standard Range and will arrive sometime in the Spring of 2022.  While the 303-mile battery will max out at 225HP rear-motor SE.  This RWD one will start at $43,650, the 320HP AWD model starts at $47,150, the RWD SEL starts at $45,900, the AWD SEL goes for $49,500, the high-end Limited model will go for $50,600, and the AWD Limited model will go for $54,500.

Now w/ all of the variety of trims, all of them ship w/ 350kW DC fast charging and a system that allows you to charge electronics, smaller power appliances, & more as well as power up other EVs as well.  You’ll be able to take advantage of the $7,500 tax credit if you plan on buying one.  As these prices align w/ Kia’s for their EV6 as well.

Will this be your 1st or next EV or waiting to see what the others will come out with?
