Late last week, Jabra announced that their recent earbuds (Elite 7 Active & 7 Pro) finally got the update that adds a well-known feature that was MIA. That is the multi-point Bluetooth support to add be able to connect to up to 2 devices at once.
So along w/ that big feature addition, the firmware update will also bring forth the ability to choose Google Assistant as your preferred virtual assistant, new UI for the MyFit section, improved connectivity and the usual bug fixes. I, honestly, thought we would have to wait longer but they made sure we didn’t.
For those of you who already own either of these 2 buds, you can go to Jabra’s Sound Plus app to pull the update & grab the features. And if you were waiting for this update to get pick one of these, now is the time. The Elite 7 Active retails for $180 and the Elite 7 Pro goes for $200. The Active stays in your ear & better repels sweat while the Pro offers a better mic system. You can check out our take on the Elite 7 Pros as well if you want to know more about them.
