As the new year comes in so does the arrival of leaks for the upcoming flagships.  We already got wind of the Galaxy S22 family and now the rumor train just picked up the 2022 iPhone aka the iPhone 14 lineup.

Now there has been plenty of word on Apple ditching the notch this year and it seems like that might be the case.  We got leaker DylanDKT takes aligning w/ Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in regards to the iPhone 14 Pro & Pro Max would replace the notch w/ a hole punch.  Now some are saying the same hole punch we see on Android devices while others are saying a pill-shaped hole punch.

While that might be one of the new hardware changes, the inside of the notch hole punch will remain the same.  With Apple’s Face ID sensors still under the display.  As none of this will change how that works & will still work w/ the front-facing camera w/ ease.

So for those of you awaiting for the in-display Touch ID to arrive, you may have to wait another year or so.  Other than that, the screen sizes will remain the same at 6.1 & 6.7inches but there are still conflicting reports on whether or not we’ll get another iPhone mini.

So what say you all?  Are you happy to finally see the notch go? Did you get used to it? Or do you even care?
