Google Fi, Google’s MNVO carrier, is now offering more while getting cheaper – if you could believe it. Usually new features brings new prices but not this time around. Late last week, they announced the new plans effective immediately for new subscribers and will take effect next billing cycle for current ones.
Out of their 3 plans, only the Simply Unlimited +Unlimited Plus while their Flexible plan remains the same. So the Simply Unlimited plan pricing goes as follows:
- $50 per line for 1 line (previously $60)
- $40 per line for 2 lines (previously $45)
- $25 per line for 3 lines (previously $30)
- $20 per line for 4-6 lines (previously $30)
They’ve added a 35GB monthly data cap as it was previously 22GB as well as free calls between US, Canada, + Mexico, and 5GB high-speed hotspot tethering.
While the Unlimited Plus plan new pricing:
- $65 per line for 1 line (previously $70)
- $55 per line for 2 lines (previously $60)
- $45 per line for 3 lines (previously $50)
- $40 per line for 4-6 lines (previously $45)
They’ve beefed up the monthly data cap up to 50GB from the 22GB mark it was before. And also gets free calls between the US, Canada, & Mexico and retains its unlimited mobile hotspot, 100 GB of Google One cloud storage, international calls to 50+ destinations and international data abroad in 200+ destinations.
For those of you curious about Google Fi, it utilizes T-Mobile + US Cellular service. Google is also running a promo that can save you up to $500 on select phones or get $100 in Fi bill credit when you bring your own phone, or add a line.
