Well, that was quick.  We got new leaks on what appears to be the next-gen Sony LinkBuds – already.  We just reviewed the 1st-gen model about a month ago as they came out this February.   We got leaked images of what they’re look like as well as some of the new features to come along w/ it.  So we’re specifically looking at the Sony WF-LSN900 aka the LinkBuds S.

These images arrive courtesy of SnoopyTech which we see a less divisive design this time around.  The original models had a open-style look w/ a ring where the audio came out of w/ the battery & sensors in the other part of them.  We got more of a traditional look for these buds which resembles that of their WF-1000XM4 buds.  However, we see a large vent for letting ambient noise in this time around.

Now the outside of the look, the biggest change comes w/ the ability to easily shift from ambient sound to advanced noise-canceling w/ automatic playback that learns form your behavior.  So the original one offered transparency mode all of the time while the original one seems to add Sony’s amazing ANC along w/ it.

Now we thought the original models were good but wouldn’t be for everyone due to the open-style design.  However, this changes things as these can be an easy pick -depending on the price of them.  We’re looking at Golden Beige, Black, & White color options when they launch.

But since we already got these leaked images, we might see these become official – sooner rather than later.  What do you think of the leaked info on the LinkBuds S thus far?  Something you’d be interested in or nah?
