So stop me if you’ve heard this one before, someone leaves behind a prototype in a bar/restaurant.  it is found and many pics are taken of it and is shared all over the Internet.  It 1st happened back in 2010 w/ the iPhone 4.

This time around its happening w/ the forthcoming & long-awaited Pixel Watch.  It happened on Friday evening and the Internet has been finding more stuff about it since.  It was the folks over at Android Central who got the pics 1st and then the one who has the protoype made his way to reddit for more.

We see the Pixel Watch looking like a shiny round button w/ a stainless steel case and a lot of glass involved on both sides of it.  There are several side buttons present along w/ a rotating crown.  We got a heart-rate/health-tracking sensor on the bottom.

And then we see it side-by-side w/ a 40mm Apple Watch & a 46mm Galaxy Watch for size comparison.  And Google’s smartwatch ain’t small or on the thin side either.   The reddit claims that it is about a half-inch thick and 1.5inches wide.  So you’ll have a good screen real estate for viewing notifications + health data.

And then we see an image of what the wristbands will look like – or at least one of them.  They appear to offer proprietary means of snapping on to the bezel while looking like the Fitbit bands for their smartwatch line.

And last but not least, we didn’t catch any images of how Wear OS will look like on here.  The person in possession of it tried to charge it and turn it on but got as far as the G logo for boot up before dying.  So we now see what the hardware will look like as we have to wait to see what the software features & overall functionality will offer.

So what do you think of the Pixel Watch thus far?  Like it, love, or need to see more?
