Last week, more details on Samsung’s mixed-reality headset came to light. And yesterday evening, the teaser for the official announcement hit the Internet.
Next week, on October 21 at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT, Samsung will reveal all of the information about its mixed-reality headset, as the company calls Worlds Wide Open. The headset codename is Project Moohan, as it will be officially kicking off Google’s Android XR platform, and this will only be the beginning, depending on sales.
Coincidentally, Apple has been working on an updated version of its Vision Pro headset and is close to launch. Although it’s been heavily rumored that Apple will pivot away from the Vision Pro to smart glasses like Ray Ban’s Meta Display.
