While being teased towards the end of 2025, Samsung’s larger Galaxy Z TriFold folding phone has the missing pieces of its puzzle: a US release date and price. The TriFold is set to arrive on January 30, starting at $2,900.
The TriFold is nearly as thin as the Z Fold 7 at 12.9mm thick. The larger foldable mimics a trifolding wallet by folding three times to completely open and close. It utilizes dual hinges with titanium and has a ceramic-glass fiber combo on the rear. It has a 6.5-inch 1080p display, which opens up to a 10-inch 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, an IP48-rated body, and a 5,600 mAh battery. It also has a rear triple camera system with a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP 3x telephoto with dual 10MP selfie cameras.
We knew it wouldn’t be cheap, but it is what it is. If you’re on the fence about it or need a little hands-on time with it before pulling the trigger, you can demo one of them if you live near a Samsung Experience Store. Unfortunately, there are only seven stores with the device across the US.
Now that everything has been revealed, will you be picking one up?
