Earlier this morning, Apple sent out invites to the press for an upcoming event. The company calls it a ‘special Apple Experience,’ which will take place on March 4 at 9 AM ET in three locations simultaneously: New York, London, and Shanghai.

The folks over at MacRumors were among the first to share the news and image of the invite, which features an Apple logo in three color gradients: yellow, green, and a hint of blue. These colors are likely the final options for the upcoming budget MacBooks, which are probably going to be announced.

It’s rumored that they will run Apple’s A18 Pro chip and retain the aluminum design, but with brighter color choices, priced between $700 and $800. Think of it as a return of the 12-inch MacBook, but with a slightly larger 12.9- or 13-inch screen.

This aligns with previous reports about several Mac hardware updates, including M5 Pro & M5 Max chips for MacBook Pros and refreshed iPads, such as an 8th-gen Air and 12th-gen iPad. And as for the iPhone 17e, it could be announced via a press release within the next week or so, before this event.
