Despite the bad news of YouTube Premium pricing going up, there is a recent glimmer of hope—just as long as you’re not on a family plan. Google has announced an offer for Google One Premium subscribers to save 50% on YouTube Premium.
To take advantage of this promo, you need to opt for the 2TB Google One Premium subscription plan for $10 monthly or higher and must reside in Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, or the US. In turn, those users will get 50% off a 12-month subscription to YouTube Premium and pay $80 instead of $160 for the year.
This promo is available to both new and existing users and only for individual accounts, not family plans. However, current users will have to cancel their existing YouTube Premium subscription and rejoin via Google One’s site. Unfortunately, you don’t have long to do it, as the promo ends on April 29.
