If you wanted to experience the Fitbit Public Preview and all that it brings, Google announced that it’s making its way to more people, places, and languages across the globe for both Android and iOS users. The app is arriving in 37 additional countries and 32 languages.
Effective late last week, Fitbit’s personal health coach (public preview) will begin rolling out in countries such as Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
Google is also expanding the Fitbit app to new languages, including Brazilian Portuguese, Canadian French, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin American Spanish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, and Chinese (Traditional).
In addition, the update also adds VO₂Max (previously called Cardio Fitness Score) and will appear in the Fitness tab under Key metrics. This is in addition to the app recently adding the ability to track your mental health, nutrition, and your monthly period. Interested users can expect the update to arrive over the coming weeks.
