Apple’s WWDC happened last week, which made its new-and-improved Siri AI official alongside new software updates for all of their hardware. The iPhone’s iOS 27 received more new features than Apple’s other software, but apparently, there are still more features coming to the platform in the fall.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reveals there are still three unannounced features coming to iOS 27, as they’re still in the works. First, a modular watch face that’s exclusive to the Apple Watch Ultra. This is said to be a simplified version of the Modular Ultra watch face, but without the second row of complications. Next, a new customizable Camera app, where users can move the controls wherever they desire.
And lastly, the long-rumored additional AI chatbot support for Siri AI. In other words, the company would allow users to use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity instead of the default Apple Intelligence. Currently, the options are only between ChatGPT and Siri within the iOS 27 developer beta.
