With E3 officially a thing of the past, we now have, more or less, several showcases for the latest and greatest in gaming. Sony’s State of Play was last week, the Xbox Games Showcase is later today, and Friday afternoon was the Summer Game Fest 2026.
Here we saw a bevy of game trailers, ranging from the third and last part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake to Resident Evil: Veronica, a remake from Sega’s Dreamcast console; a sequel to Alien Isolation; not one but two Star Wars titles; a Saw video game; more traction for the Ninja Turtles: Last Ronin game; and the addition of Tupac Shakur to the upcoming Stranger Than Heaven game.
There were many, many trailers dropped during the three-hour showcase, and we’ll have most of them for your viewing pleasure below. In the meantime, I’ll be tuned in and working on the Xbox Showcase coverage for later this afternoon.
