Well, that didn’t take long. We previously talked about reports on the upcoming ‘budget’ Pixel A-series phones, and now we have more confirmation with images to match. All info is courtesy of the folks over at Android Headlines, of course.
As you can see above from the early CAD renders, it will mirror the Pixel 10a visually—save for the new color. Speaking of colors, the rumored options are said to be black, silver, green, and purple. Outside of that, the rear dual camera setup in the top-left corner appears to still be flush. However, the 11a could be slightly shorter based on its dimensions, which appears to be around 153.46 x 72.35 x 9mm vs. the 10a’s 153.9 x 73 x 9mm.
Regarding its internals, the 11a is said to offer Google’s newest Tensor G6 chip alongside the new MediaTek modem; both from the Pixel 11 phones. Also new would be the boosted peak brightness from 3,000 to 3,350 nits, an updated selfie camera, and a mildly smaller battery from a 5,100 mAh to a 4,870 mAh cell. It could retain its 6.3-inch 120 Hz display and 8GB of RAM.
Keep in mind that despite all of this info, the Google Pixel 11a is still due out next year. Hopefully, Google can add Pixelsnap Qi2 magnetic wireless charging without increasing the price at all, or at least not by too much.
