Last time we reported news on the upcoming PlayStation 4, Sony is planning a big unveiling on the 20th. But thanks to Destructoid, we a look at we many believe to be an early prototype of what the controller will look like on the Sony’s next-gen console. As you can see, the iconic four directional pad along with the Square, Triangle, X, & Circle button remain close to the same. The DualShock joysticks have been streamlines for a sightly newer look.
What’s new is the glowing Blue light, which coincides with the rumors of PS Move-like motion sensor now on the controller. Also a small touchscreen panel and microphone/speaker. The question is: how many of these features will make it to the final product?
Looks like February 20th can’t come fast enough.
