The newest in Samsung’s MV camera series is bringing some new tricks to the table that is worthy of your attention. The MV900F is coming to replace its predecessor, the MV800. With this new point-and-shoot camera, users will be able to enjoy a 16.3MP sensor w/ a f/ 2.5 aperture 25mm wide lens capable of 5x optical zoom. The MV900F can record video in 1080p HD at 30 fps as well.
Samsung put some gesture-based technology within this shooter for an added bonus. For example, you can remotely take photos from across the room (away from the camera) by using simple hand motions. Interesting. They also armed it with a 3.3inch AMOLED MulitView display that flips out to 180 degrees for easier self-portraits. No camera is complete without having a variety of shooting modes & filters at your disposal and this is no different. You add backgrounds & props to your subject as well as low-light & HDR shooting modes to name a few. As noted before, Wi-Fi is on-board for instant sharing to most Wi-Fi enabled devices.
The Samsung MV900F is due out sometime in late August with a $349.99 price tag. It will arrive in Black & White colors at authorized Samsung retailers.
