Sony’s latest shooter continues to blur the line between a point-&-shoot vs. DSLR with this latest Cyber Shot camera. The new DSC-RX100 camera offers a huge f/1.8 aperture Carl Zeiss lens w/ 20.2MP sensor and 3.6x optical zoom. Using a new BIONZ chipset for faster image processing after taking the shot, capable of reaching from 120 to 25,600 ISOs, offering the option to choose from auto to manual focusing, and a 3inch LCD display that uses WhiteMagic technology that adds white pixels to enhance details and brightness.
The DSC-RX100 is due out sometime in July as it is expected to have a $650 price tag attached to it. Definitely adding this and the NEX-F3 to my want list of cameras from Sony. More details lie within the press release link below.
