Looks like Garageband has some competition with the new music-making app, Figure. Figure is made by Propellerhead (the creators behind Reason) and offers super-easy way to create your own soundtrack for any idea you can muster. Figure uses a clean UI with practical navigation for creation.
The controls are basic as it focuses on three instruments: Drum, Bass, & Lead with the ability to create your own patterns, individual instruments tweaks, & mixing variations. The app doesn’t allow you to share your songs at the moment but for $0.99, it is not a bad investment. If you doubt the ease of use, check out the demo video below to become a believer.
