In the midst of the announcement and the excitement around it, you might have asked yourself ‘ what happened to the regular OnePlus 7?’ It does exist and it is coming soon – unless you live here in the US.
With the one we got being the Pro version of the 7, expect this one to have a few things missing and altered. You have a smaller 6.4inch OLED display (w/o a 90Hz refresh rate), tear drop selfie camera from the 6T, 2 cameras on the rear instead of 2, RAM maxing out at 8GB, and a smaller 3700 mAh battery inside. You’ll still have a Snapdragon 855 CPU, in-display fingerprint reader, 48MP primary camera w/ OIS, and dual stereo speakers.
Since its not slated for the US it will offer a dual-SIM tray on board. However, it is destined for the UK, Europe, China, and India w/ the UK + India getting it next month. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage option will cost you £499.00 while the 8GB RAM/256GB storage option will cost you £549.00.
So for our friends outside of the US, are you gonna pick up this or the 7 Pro?
