Well, after hiding for a little bit, Sony finally unveiled the PlayStation 5 to go along w/ the new DualShock controller.  This is definitely not the console I or many others envisioned but here it is in all of its glory.

The console has a stand to sit horizontally & can sit vertically as well.  It has White exterior on each side w/ Black interior.  It has a USB-A and a USB-C ports in the front as well as a disc drive.  Speaking of disc-drives, Sony will put out a digital version of the console like Microsoft did.  As you can see from the image above, they already have their line of accessories waiting in the wings.  At launch, you’ll have headphones, an HD camera, a media controller, and a DualSense charging dock.

To recap, the PS5 internals offer an 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU, a custom GPU based on AMD RDNA 2, 16GB of RAM, a proprietary SSD giving you 825GB of storage, capable of 3D audio & Dolby Atmos support, can game in 4K @120fps, and will have a 4K Blu-Ray player.

So there you have it – whether you love it or hate it.  The only thing missing is the pricing as we’re still expecting a holiday 2020 launch.  Is the look of the console gonna stop you from picking this one up or nah?
