Looks like HTC is ready to push the envelope even further in regards to front-facing cameras. Going from 5MP up to 13MP for the shooter on the front. According to the new leaker online UpLeaks, that’s what their upcoming Desire Eye is prepping to do.
HTC is ready to take selfie cameras to the next level.
As you can see from the image above, the Desire Eye looks to resemble the Desire 820 but w/ beefier specs. Like a 5.2inch 1080p display, a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 2400 mAh removable battery, and 13MP on the front + rear of the device. His info also states that this and other HTC devices will have customized selfie software included into Sense 6 when Android L goes live.
Not sure if this will make its way to the US or will it be unveiled at next week’s event. We’ll keep you posted as more details become available.
