We're trying something a little a different here. For the weekends, we will be audio and visual highlights. So here are some of the songs, movies, and TV shows, we've been watching lately. A mix of some new and slightly older songs. BTW, NSFW, Explicit language follows.
Sherlock (Netlfix)
BBC's own modern day take on the legendary detective starring Benedict Cumberbach and Martin Freeman. Much better than whatever is on CBS. The seasons are only 3 or 4 episodes but they're about an hour and a half long. Very entertaining as I can't wait for Season 4 to return.Misfits (Hulu)
Leave it up to the UK to make a better version of NBC was trying to do w/ Heroes w/ the Misfits. Definitely a more crude and raw rendition of young adults gaining superhuman abilities. Lots of sex, drugs, and mischief. Still entertaining throughout the show.Carnivale (HBO Go)
Taking place in the mid-1930s about a traveling Carnivale but far from your average. There are a slew of characters all w/ their own backstories as mainly about a farmer w/ abilities who joins the carnival crew and the different towns they visit as their pasts + villains arise throughout their journey.
The Following (Netflix/Hulu)
Kevin Bacon stars in this insane series which plays out like a great movie but makes for even better television. Gotta love a serial killer and a cult of followers (hence forth the name). SO far they are 2 seasons in and it is awesome thus far.
