In case you thought last year’s Droid were the last in the series, you were wrong. Meet the Droid Turbo, the latest from Moto + Verizon that is on its way. While Motorola usually launches there smartphones within the similar timeframe, this one appears to be running late.
Looks like only one Droid this year from VZW.
The Turbo will, of course, match some of the specs seen in the new Moto X. According to leaks of the manual, we should see a 5.2inch Ultra HD display ( not sure if that’s a 2K resolution or something close to it), a long-lasting 3900 mAh battery, a 21MP rear-facing camera + dual LED flash, NFC, Qi wireless charging and support for Moto’s Turbo charger that can provide a fast charge to your nearly-dead device.
You still have all of the Moto apps on top of stick Android like Display, Actions, Assist, and Connect. Looks like its only one Droid this time around combining the sleekness of the atypical smaller ones w/ the battery of the Maxx. Perhaps they’re waiting for Google to make Android L official alongside the Nexus 6 before launching. Either way both devices is expected to become available sometime this month or early next.
