Today, Motorola unveiled three new clamshell foldables: the Razr, the Razr+, and the Razr Ultra. Unfortunately, the pricing for all three gets a bit of a bump compared to last year’s models. All three of the new Razrs retain the clamshell foldable designs, with the entry-level Razr offering a slightly smaller screen than the other two models.

Outside of that, all three offer dual 50MP rear-facing cameras, IP48-rated shells, ships running Android 16, include Google Gemini, Moto AI, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity preloaded, and support both wireless and reverse charging.

  • The Razr offers a 3.6-inch 90Hz OLED, which opens up to a 6.9-inch 120Hz OLED screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chip, 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4,800 mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
  • The Razr+ offers a 4-inch 120Hz OLED and opens to a 6.9-inch 165Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, a 32MP selfie camera, and a slightly smaller 4,500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
  • The Razr Ultra offers a 4-inch OLED that opens to a 7-inch OLED screen (both with a 165Hz refresh rate), a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, a 50MP selfie camera, and a slightly larger 5,000 mAh cell with 68W fast charging than its predecessor. The Ultra does gain improved dynamic range and AI-based camera abilities for the 2026 model.

The entry-level Razr starts at $800, from the $700 previous model; the mid-tier Razr+ is $1,100, from its $1,000 predecessor; and the premium Razr Ultra is $1,500, from the $1,300 model from last year. Pre-orders for all three models kick off on May 14 and go on sale on May 21.
