As Tuesdays are usually the day of the week for press releases and announcements, today is no different. Earlier today, Google announced the official arrival of the Android 17 update to all Pixel phones. The OS update will arrive alongside the delayed Pixel Drop for June.

Android 17 brings forth new features, including Bubbles, a system-wide floating app window with a dock for multitasking; Screen Reaction, allowing users to on-screen record reactions using their selfie camera without the need for a green screen; Pixel foldables get a native touchscreen gamepad you can customize; improved parental controls and security; 3D emojis; custom widgets; and more. Google noted that Gemini Intelligence is set to arrive later this summer.

So if you own a Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel 10a, Pixel Tablet, or the original Pixel Fold, it’s time to head over to Settings > System > System Update > Check for update to grab it along with its new features. If you’re on the 17 Beta 4.1, users will get a small update as well to its final version.
