At first feel, the HTC Rhyme reminds me of the Droid Incredible 2 with slightly different features. It is very light and very thin as the Rhyme brings it back to what we used to use a phone for. The Sense UI on the main screen is less invasive than any other HTC Android but the same on every other screen though. With quick tabs to preview new email, messages, or whatever four icons you wish on your front home screen for faster access. On paper the specs sound like an older device but in person everything performs really well on it. Very expeditious when opening apps, using the Sense transitions, and even the camera performs quite well with HDR abilities, editing, & effects. Funny how the Rhyme (previously codenamed the Bliss) was rumored to be targeted for women. Other than the Plum color and the LED charm, anyone can use this and not question their manhood. Or maybe not. Depends on the guy I guess. Check out more photos after the break.
The 1600 mAh battery is non-removable but you have access to the microSD card slot |
