Tipped to Engadget early this morning were photos of a new Motorola Android device. As you can see in the photo above, it’s called the Droid HD. This new Droid is slated to be armed with a 4.5inch touchscreen display w/ qHD resolution or even higher (possibly 1280 x 720), running either Gingerbread or Ice Cream versions of Android depending on its launch, powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera w/ LED flash that’s capable of 1080p HD video capture, microUSB + HDMI ports, and capable of global roaming. The Droid HD will super-thin, like enough to rival the Samsung Galaxy S II as it is shown photographed next to the Droid Bionic below. With the name Droid in its moniker, it is safe to expect this to make its way to Verizon as another LTE device (hopefully). Check out a few more pics below after the break.
