Samsung has recently offered a GPS solution for those using either the Vibrant or the Captivate and still having ailing GPS issues after the provided update via OTA back in September. It has arrived in the form of an app made by Samsung called GpsSamsungRestore. Of course the app is free and is available in within the Android Market. The app will run a GPS restore in order to locate it and afterwards you should be back to smooth sailing with your Google Navigation. Just search the Android Market for GpsSamsungRestore to download and get started.
