ps4-consoleFor you PlayStation Plus loyalists out there, get ready to start having to shell out a little bit more for it.  Announced yesterday on Sony’s PlayStation Blog, subscribers of PS Plus is getting a $10 increase starting on September 22nd.  This would now make it $60 annually instead of the $50 it was (or is until next month, anyways).

The new pricing won’t affect current subscribers but when your service runs and you have to renew, expect to see the price difference.  The price increase will affect the 3-month subscription as well as it will be $25 instead of $18.  The 1-month subscription will remain at $10.  Making now a great time to subscribe to enjoy a year at the cheaper price point.

PlayStation Plus offers up features like online multiplayer, free games, discounts, online game storage and PS digital services discounts.  If you’re turned off by the incremental hike in price, make sure you turn off the auto-renewal as suggested by Sony.
