According to the Wall Street Journal, RIM maybe prepping to announce their BlackBerry tablet as soon as next week during BlackBerry’s developer conference in San Francisco. To brief everyone with latest bit of intel on the tablet, RIM’s tablet won’t run BlackBerry 6 instead it will offer an entirely new OS by a company called QNX (which RIM acquired earlier in the year). More rumors arise as speculation puts the new OS by QNX to become the official new BlackBerry OS in the near future as future phones will offer the OS as opposed to BlackBerry 6. BlackBerry’s developer conference kicks off on September 27th and ends on the 30th, so maybe by then we ‘ll get a peek at it.
