Along with everything Apple presented yesterday, they had to refresh their main app, iTunes. The new iTunes 10 now offers a new social service called Ping. Ping was described by Steve Jobs as “Twitter and Facebook meets iTunes” and allows you to create a group of friends, share music likes/dislikes, be alerted of nearby concerts, follow artists, and just making iTunes social. The new iTunes will also support something new called AirTunes which allows you to stream your iTunes media wirelessly with compatible devices and accessories.
